Migration/Audit Lead (contract assignment)
Google/Astreya, Mountain View, CAMay 2013 to May 2014

(2nd time contracting at Google)Migrating inventory of global installed network to Netcracker OSS. Focus on POPs and optical network.  Facilities include ethernet infrastructure elements and layer 0/1 fiber network components, in addition to all circuit routing and path records.  Migrating Google's prior proprietary system database to successfully reconcile layer 1-3 circuits in Netcracker .  Wrote Audit MOP to address gathering data and following path remediation procedures to correct path and equipment records. Remediated circuit paths and UAT testing of Netcracker. Design backlog Rescue contract: Responsible for long haul and metro circuits designs. Consisting primarily of GigE/OCN/DS3/100BaseT bandwidths across legacy DWDM networks composed of Leve3/ICG/Broadwing/Telcove and others to achieve end to end solution.  Primary tool utilized was Granite Xng database.  Level3 tools include work order management BPM and order management tool OMC.  Trained initially in Broomfield CO,  Level3’s HQ site and then worked remote. Also completed  GigE/10GigE entrance facility builds with Verizon (Tellabs), Level3 (Infinera),TW(ALU), SCE(ALU) .  Activities included spec/ordering of interfacing optical equipment (ALU lambda Unite), coordinating space/power/timing/terminations,  specing and ordering fiber jumpers, panels and core optical network equipment as required to terminate facilities, primarily ALU Lambda Unites.

Participated in Dark Fiber analysis and backhaul assessment of Washington DC/Baltimore metro area to provide transport connectivity for planned terrestrial components augmenting MSV’s existing satellite assets.
Interacted with Carriers to define OSP assets, including dark fiber routes and on net building list.
